Last year we moved to Bosham, on the shores of Chichester Harbour.
Our house is 750 yards from the sea (when the tide is in) and I soon got it into my head to join the happy band who ply the waters in sailing boats.
Since buying my little craft, I have discovered a new and delightful way of life. The magical joy of harnessing the wind, the thrill of its power, the ancient satisfaction of learning a new skill combine to invigorate and stimulate mind and body in a way I had never expected.
My blog will explore everything about sailing: the boats, the people, the weather, water and tides and the re-alignment of priorities that spending time in a sailing boat, alone or with friends, brings.
I want more people to enjoy the wonderful freedom of the spirit that comes with idle sailing.
Just turn on, drop out and luff up.
